Robert E. Seifer, PhD, PA provides research-based psychological care for children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. Every intervention is built on one principle: when you become aware of your freedom to choose, you gain the power to take responsibility for your life — and change it.
Dr. Rob Seifer is a licensed clinical psychologist providing psychological services to children, adolescents, and adults, including individual, couples, and family therapy. With adults, Dr. Seifer provides individual, person-centered treatment, with interventions designed to increase personal growth and daily functioning. His goal is to improve psychological wellness in each individual client, and he centers his interventions on clients becoming aware of their freedom to choose and taking personal responsibility for their daily actions.
While working with children, Dr. Seifer's goal is to increase positive, socially appropriate behaviors at home, in the community, and at school, and he provides individual parent training sessions to teach parents more effective and positive alternatives for modifying their children's behavior and resolving emotional difficulties. With adolescents, his goal is to enable clients to make sound decisions, take responsibility, and enhance positive relationships with their teachers, coaches, friends, and family.
Dr. Seifer offers a full range of psychological testing for children, adolescents, and adults, including Gifted Testing, Academic Evaluations, Learning Disability Evaluations, Memory Testing, and Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder Testing.
Dr. Seifer is the Team Clinician for the Miami Dolphins and Sport Psychologist for the San Francisco Giants, with previous roles serving the Chicago White Sox, Miami Marlins, University of Miami Hurricanes, and Inter Miami CF.
